HR & Office Managment Part II

Certificate in Human Resource and Office Management

Part II

The course provides a comprehensive perspective of the main Human Resources and Office Management theories in order to provide a conceptual and practical basis for student learning. It develops that learning by examining the main techniques involved in managing Human Resources. It also encourages students to draw on knowledge from their own experience to develop a clear understanding and practical working knowledge of HRM.

On successful completion of the course students will be able to understand the benefits of effective Human Resource strategies. They will have a theoretical framework for the development and evaluation of HRM concepts and principles and a thorough familiarity with the operational details of Human Resource and Office Management.

The topics covered in this programme represent a broad coverage of the major areas in HRM and are designed to encourage students to draw on learning from their own experiences and theoretical views. Although the course is academic in nature and draws on theoretical study, it is essentially a process based and practical, hands-on course, which relies greatly on student participation.
